OUR MISSION

Summerfest Services is a non-profit corporation. It was founded by Larry Winkler on December 30, 2008 to help the community promote its events.

Summerfest has helped sponsor the Seattle Fire Dept.  Medic II Golf  Tournaments for the last Nine years and is looking forward to its Tenth annual tournament.

As past president of the White Center Eagles, Larry has facilitated $2,000 in grants for the Medic II program, as well as spearheading the annual golf tournaments.

For those who may not be familiar with Medic II, it was initiated in October of 1971, with a goal of training 100,000 Greater Seattle area residents in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (more commonly known as CPR) within a three- year period.

As well as being an international role model, Medic II has trained and retrained over 884,759 Seattle/King County residents.

CPR instructors, like Larry Winkler, teach the community how to help save a life by providing instructional classes in CPR, which include Adult CPR and Choking; Pediatric CPR and Choking (Infant/Child); Adult AED/CPR, and CPR for ESL and the limited and non-English speaking populations.

The goal of the program is to make CPR a household word, which will make our community a safer place in which to live, and your participation in these annual charity events will help to make that possible.
